ok so im on a flat place and i slowly let go of my clutch until it catches. The car still doesnt move. I have to give it gas and slowly let go of the clutch to go. What causes this? is this normal on '93 honda civic ex's? I thought it would be a weak spark. Checked my spark plugs, wires, distributor... highest resistance in my spark plug wires were ~11K ohms (my longest wire)

Ive been on my friends cars and they slowly let go of the clutch with no gas. They can go a pretty decent jogging pace just in first gear, no gas, no hill. Doesnt work for me though. My friend has the same car as me...

clutch doesnt slip. If i go to 4th gear, it feels the same as first. I can feel the clutch catching, then the rpms drop and if i let go a little more, then it runs really rough and about to stall.

i looked at the service papers again. Clutch changed out about 3000 km ago. service records say: check rough idle, replace distributor cap and rotor. Replace clutch assembly: pressure plate, center plate, clutch release bearing.
total $326. Labor: $260. Grand total $679.

the clutch engages pretty high. near the end of the pedal travel
no jamming problems. shifts very smoothly. no burning smell either
