Why won't my blackberry curve recoginize the new ringtones I put on my media card?

they show up on my memory card when I plug my phone into my computer. And I can find them in my phone when I click explore in the menu of the media folder. But there not there when I just scroll over to my ringtones.

ringtones arent saved on the media card they are on the device memory.
