To start, I'll let you know that i have a 2005 honda civic with a 5 speed transmission (stick). I just recently got an auto start/ security system installed. The auto start started the car a couple times (yes, i know the special procedure that has to be done before shutting off the car in order for the auto start to work) but i've been trying it lately and it'll crank the engine, but just before the engine turns over, it stops cranking. The engine doesn't take much work to turn over, so it's cranking for less than 2 seconds... if that. But, if i get in the car and turn the key in the ignition, the car starts right up. Anyone know what the problem could be? I think I might need a new battery (deep cycle) because i have a sub that takes 500-1000 watts rms and an amp that puts out up to 1000 rms watts with a capacitor installed too.
