We have a 5-year-old Apple Powerbook G4 that used to connect with no problems whatsoever via a Linksys wireless router. However, I changed the security settings to WPA2 a while ago and ever since have not been able to connect the Apple to it.
Things I've already tried:
i) Took it into Apple showroom who managed to get Airport to connet to their router via WEP
ii) Realised the laptop doesn't support WPA2 so changed the security back to WEP but can't seem to get it to recognise the password
This is complicated by the fact that the ethernet socket is broken so I can't connect it via the cable.
