TItle. Details: Starting is intermittent. When my car actually starts and i take it for a drive, it won't start after that.
When I try to start my car it just clicks and doesn't crank when i try to start the car.
So far i've changed the solenoid in the starter and changed the wire connecting the battery to the starter.
Does anyone have a clue whats wrong with my car?

When it won't crank, do the headlights dim ?

There are a few tests you can perform prior to removal. But

if it's not hard to access this starter motor. Remove it and have it

tested at a rebuilder or perhaps........Autozone....

Things to consider:
A grounded starter motor field.
Internal ground in starter motor windings
Worn brushes or commutator.

Just based on the fact that it wll not crank when it's hot leads
me to believe that it's an internal problem.

Good Luck

sounds like one of 2 things it could be a low batt 12.5 is what it takes to give the starter a good spin also make shure the batt has amps as well. could be your altnater too it may not be chargeing if you did any work on that make shure you have it wired to the batt.
