Do all guys think being sentimental is a feminine trait?
My boyfriend is the strong and silent type. He says he is a "go with the flow" kinda guy who doesn't take anything seriously.
Now i know this is not true. I refuse to believe he is incapable of being emotional or sentimental. I want to get him to open up but it is like i hit a wall sometimes. He comes from the old school, "boys don't whine and cry" world. He sees it as a weakness.
Like when we talk about his cheating ex, his parents who live far away whom i know he misses a lot and other things. i knw these things hurt him but he never wants to talk about them.
My question is - DO all men find talking about feelings or being emotional a feminine trait. something they as men are not supposed to indulge in?
How do i get my boyfriend to open up without seeming pushy? I don't ever ever nag him but i am getting frustrated people.cause i share everything with him and he won't. He is such a nice guy, why won't he open up.
