why wont he talk to me cuz i didnt do anything?

last week this boy was flirting with me thru text. he was calling me these pet names and he even asked if i had a boyfriend. i texted him that night but he didn't answer. the next day we didn't talk but i texted him good night and he didn't answer. the next day my friend asked him if he likes me and he said that he was just joking around. i even texted him that night saying that my friend told me he was joking and that its okay im not mad. he didn't answer. and when i try to talk with him on myspace he ignores and when i text him he ignores. i haven't talked to him since that day he flirted with me. i understand that he was kidding but he can at least talk with me. what could be wrong?
 
when he said he was just joking around, he was just joking or playing with your mind. Basically, he never meant the oiriginal things he said and he was seeing if you would like him just to boost his ego. He didn't really mean the things he said. He is a jerk. I would not talk to him anymore or text him.
