why wont amazon UK ship red dead redemption limited edition to US?

i tried to pre order red dead redemption limited edition for ps3 from amazon.co.uk but it kept saying that it could not ship to address. can someone help me?b
 
Because the Government in the UK are very greedy about taxes,if companies like Amazon ship outside the United Kingdom the Government loose money,similarly if we in England buy goods from the US were forced to pay high taxes on goods purchased there. Hope this helps.
