Why won't Adobe Flash Player install on my Mac OS X 10.4?

I tried to download it on both Safari and Firefox and I thought all was going well until it came to installing it, in which it opened with Script Editor and would not download to my browser. Does anybody know how to fix this?
 
usually the problem is adobe's download manager, try downloading again and click on the link that says "if download doesn't start automatically, click here". Save that file, close your browser and find the file you downloaded and use that to install flash.
