it had a blown head gasket and wouldnt start at all. When i replaced the head gasket it started but then the new problem started. It will start but only with a jump. Then it will run only if its being revved and at that for only a few seconds. I dont know what else to try its turning out to be more expensive then i originally anticipated.
the battery is fine, when the car is trying to start it drains the battery but when i hook up a battery charger it gives it enough juice to fire. but once its running its really choppy and dies after after a few seconds. it wont idle at all just run while the throttle is being held down.
fuel pump, filter, injectors, and anything else in the fuel system is fine, also it backfires bad before it dies, if that makes a difference at all.
when i replaced the headgasket i drained the oil and took of the oil pan to clean it and all then soaked up any other water in the pistons, etc.
