files from a drive or watching movie? Hi I have a Lenova Thinkpad (T61) laptop with Windows Vista. Its having 2gb RAM. Whenever I browse media files from my drive or external drive or when watching movies with high resolution, the system is automatically going into sleep mode though I set the power settings to display always. There is no screensaver set or no display time offs for the monitors.

This is really annoying when watching movies. I installed VLC mediaplayer and KLite codec pack for watching media files, but still no luck on this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Arun.K.S

You should run the Laptop with the charger alway's connected it may shut down because your Battery is low, check all your power options again and tick any Display warning before shutting down, also check in Bios that it is not set there to shut off.also when you st things nake sure to press the APPLY button not just the OK button, so first apply then ok to be sure.
