Today's mobile phones have far more RAM, CPU power and storage space than the desktop computers of the year 2000. Yet the Windows Mobile operating system is clearly weaker in design and performs very slowly compared to Windows 95 or ME. Windows Mobile even offers a restricted (subset) of the desktop-Windows API to work with (even if you're using the .NET, which actually works on desktops of year 2000).
Is there a certain technological reason why we can't have a powerful Windows on a mobile phone while the hardware allows for it?
