...you to grin and bear it? I have known many people in my life who called themselves my "friends." I always listened to their problems. Tried to console them. If I consoled them in the wrong way, they'd get upset, so I'd figure out exactly what they needed. YET, when I went to them with my problems, I'd get "suck it up!" or "grin and bear it!" or "Your problem really isn't that important. Try to relax!" What's with this double standard?
 
It's more about what some people feel is important to them. And today we have fewer people who want to take the time to listen then we ever did before. The other problem is that they don't understand the problem so they have no way of being able to solve it. And in the haste of today so many people are out of touch with their feelings that they don't see how some things can or should affect another person. It shows how we are dying as a society.
 
Because many people are selfish and you're not. You know how to sympathize and be a good friend. It's pretty rare these days I'd say...
