It is widely known among most that no matter how much oil we drill domestically, the oil goes right to the world market as the United States has not nationalized our oil reserves. The contracted companies like Exxon, BP, Shell will simply sell the oil on the world market...like they do when they drill in every other country. It won't go to "us". Therefore, the prices of oil and connections with the middle east will not change at all.
If everyone knows that, why don't they SAY IT? Any reasons I'm not thinking of?
