Why when Glen Beck bashed the Bush admin noone cared but now when he bashes...

...the Obama admin.,the media cries? Glen Beck is not Republican or Democrat. He is not left or right. But when he expresses his views anbout the Republicans, the media doesn't care. Now he expresses his views about the Democrats and everyone starts crying. Aren't we entitled to free speech. The man is not going to shut up and his ratings are getting higher by the week. I listened the other day to clips from George Bush stating that his critics had the right to free speech and disagree with him. He was open to that. Obama states a whole different opinion to media disagreeing with him and his administration. Nancy Pelosi said some nasty things about people who were freely disagreeing with a government healthcare bill. These weren't mobs they were concerned citizens. My views are not totally democrat or republican but it seems like the Democrats need to stop with this defensive rhetoric, it has only made Glen Beck more powerful. What are your views on how the Democratic has been handling criticism lately?
 
The difference is that criticisms of Bush had a basis in ethical philosophy.

Bombing and occupying other countries that had no threat or connection to your safety, it considered by most rational people to be ethically wrong.

Therefore, Bush deserves a ton of criticism.

Obama has not done anything as ethically wrong as this.

Obama tends toward ethically right ways of decision making.
 
Hey, if Glenn Beck is pushing buttons and pissing people off, he's doing his job. Notice how no one cares what Olbermann says, what Maddows says. They're irrelevant. If it was all bull, nobody would pay any attention to Beck.

Beck is nothing more then a ratings whore.He'll say anything he has to to boost his ratings(hence his salary!)

As to that remark in there about Bush you seem to forget when a couple appeared at a Bush speech about freedom of speech wearing homemade antiBush t-shirts.They were arrested! They sued and won $40,000 from the secret service!
