Why Western people blames countries where eating dogs is normal or a part of

I think all cultures discrimanate towards those cultures that are differefnt from their own. Isn't that just one of the most dispicable things of being a human? Everyone has their own frame of referance, and it is difficult to think outside it. just because we were brought up to consider dogs our best friends, doesn't means that gives us the power to judge on those who doesn't share in our opinion. Yes to me it's cruel and disquisting, but I must constintly remind myself that diversity exist. What is moral and "normal" to me is not to other people. This for me is the ground reason for all the wars. We must learn to understand people's acts according to their frame of referance...not our own
 
I don't think people discriminate, however people tend to fear the unknown.

The unknown being that other countries animals that we keep as pets.

Where people display their ignorance is in their refusal to learn about other cultures and insist upon speaking negatively of others.

When Prince Henrik said he love grilled dogs, many western people talk down to those people who used to eat dogs. However, they do not know that it a part of Chinese culture & existed many thousand years ago in China.

Do u think western people discriminate Chinese culture?
 
No I dont think people discriminate Chinese culture. I do believe there is a lot of misunderstanding on both sides though.
 
I think eating anything that was alive is wrong let alone dogs. But if Chinese eat dogs the western eat alot of chicken then whats the difference? They are both meat so western people are no different.
