Why weren't African-Americans prevalent in the Vietnam antiwar movements?

A detailed explanation would be favorable seeing as my textbooks and Google did not yield many helpful results...
 
Actually, they were, but not in the same way as the college students and middle class suburbanites were. Malcolm X spoke vehemently about the war. You have to remember, the "Black Power Movement" was going on at the same time. Malcolm X, M.L. King and others all spoke against the war.
