after the attack on pearl harbor. the gov. put all japanese americans in to internment camps. but why?

We didn't trust them.

Without question, the Japanese had ON SITE intelligence on which ships were docked, where the surrounding air force bases were, what time were most active, etc....

We feared that Jap residents would either continue to offer intelligence, or perhaps take up the fight through sabotage.

It wasn't politically correct.... but it was the right thing to do based on what we knew at the time.
