...name, years ago? I've noticed that authors from previous generations (i.e. H.P. Lovecraft, H.G. Wells, G.K. Chesterton, etc.) were addressed with only their first and middle initial, followed by their last name. Nowadays people are credited by their full first name and last name. Why is this?
