Why was this guy telling me I should get a bf?

He just randomly started talking about how I should get a boyfriend by changing the way I look and to be less shy around guys. I told him that I wasn't really looking for a boyfriend or commitment. So he then told me that it was a bad idea to live like that and I shouldn't do that. When he himself isn't in a committed relationship and just had sex with me. I'm very confused of why he said this. Was he just saying all of that to make conversation? Please help
 
He wants in your pants. Do whatever the hell you wanna do. Don't listen to other people live and do what you love doing.You don't have to get into a relationship, most of them are more trouble then they are worth. The guy is just being stupid. Remember how all your teachers told you to think outside the box? Well that boys mind is in a very very small box. You do not force your beleifs onto others.
 
hahaha either he may not want to do stuff with you or he wants more than sex
 
i hate to say this but maybe he is scared and doesnt want to be in a commited relationship and by you getting a bf he wouldnt have to worry about you wanting to be in one with him.im really sorry! good luck!chelsea.
 
sounds like his way of telling you that he got what he wanted from you but does not want a relationship, telling you to find someone else is a way to tell you 'to find someone else'
 
Maybe he likes you, maybe he is just trying to be a friend by giving you advice, or maybe he is just teasing you.Don't worry about it though. He was probably just flirting with you. haha
 
He told you to get a boyfriend because it sounds like he doesn't want you to think that anything other than the sex you had with him, is going to happen.Change the way you look? He is DISSING you girl! Move on!
 
he probably is sugesting things how you should be because thats how he would prefare you and would like you.. so really he wants to get into you to be honest haah xx
 
no he probably said tht cuz he doesnt want u to be alone in your life and he doesnt wat u to be a slut either.
