Why was Saddam Hussein judged by AMERICAN court system?

1)Why G.W. Bush are not electrocuted for ignoring the UN and killed many innocents just like any other Terrorists or Saddam Hussein himself did?

2) Where is WMD ? What happened with that topic AFTER Saddam Hussein was captured?

Im american. My country did some very bad unlawful things. But USA is the most powerful nation (at least for the next 10 years), so nobody is going to threaten us with war over it for now, and americans are very patriotic so most are not willing to question our motives when it comes to war. We pretend that it has nothing to do with WMD now. Now we claim that its about giving "freedom" to the Iraqis. Thats our story now, while theres plenty of countries like Somalia and Myanmar that are way worse off than Iraq was who we are not attempting to "free" or improve. Little countries like East Timor and Sri Lanka that would have costed a fraction of what the Iraq War costs to "liberate" but we've never made any attempt to do so with them.
We did the same thing with Vietnam. Look up "Gulf of Tonkin Incident". That was the Vietnam War version of WMD. We made up a lie to invade Vietnam, then when that lie was exposed, we pretended that it never happened and claimed that the reason we were in Vietnam was to save the south vietnamese and stop the spread of Communism.
