How do you not know?

The Civil Rights movement for starters, that was in the 60's.
He fought to get equal right for all people, not just Blacks.
He marched in Montgomery, Alabama, and got people to march with him.
He believed in civil disobedience, which involves not using violence to get what you want.

He was a the voice for the blacks over oppression and racism,he tried to bring equality for all black people regardless of religion.a true and honest man and killed for his believes.
