why treatment takes so long to enact

Ifell 12 weeks ago at work . Directly on my left hip. My leg 7hip became sore over the next3days. In extreme agony Iwas hostipalised for 5 days and discovered through diagnostics I had as result of fall a L4 L5 moderate disc bulge.Ihave recieved pain relief minikal pysio no other investgation ie MRI my foot is clawing and my righthip is now involved my left leg is nurab and I continuosly trip . I have told my pysio and my doctor. They say it takes yime to heal. What other intervention should Idiscuss with them/
 
Do you have the option of getting a consultation with an orthopedic spine surgeon or neurosurgeon? If it's been 12 weeks without improvement you may want to move to a specialist having a full evaluation of what you are going through. Also sounRAB like a Pain Management physician may be of help (if that is an option in Australia, it's a common type of physician here). There are things like epidural injections of steroiRAB that help in some cases.
