I have been having issues with my pearl for a while now mostly crashes the phone is a year old I contacted tech support about it and they could not figure out why I was having these issues.so in the end they offered to replace my phone free of charge. I could be wrong but I don't know another company that would go to such great lengths to keep there customers happy......I was very impressed by how they handeled my problem just thought yall should know

Are they sending you new Pearl or are they sending you a newer device? I wish T-mobile coverage was better in my area but the coverage ends about 10 miles from my house.

Well I'm assuming you're still in the warranty period so they're just sending you a warranty replacement. Everyone does that

Well if that's the case its I would go through rim not tmobile, you could be right but I called to buy a phone and they offered me a free replacement just thought it was cool of them, most companies would just sell you a phone .....especially since I've had the phone over a year

True too bad we don't got the storm on tmo. Hopefully when the new one comes out it won't stay on verizon for too long.

I believe he said it was over a year, so that'd be out of the warranty period. However, one thing T-Mo has always had has been great customer service. When I wanted to upgrade to the 8900, the line my pearl was on wasn't eligible for an upgrade, but another line was. I explained to the rep that I wanted to give my wife the Pearl w/o a data plan since her phone was crap and she just wanted a better one, but I would use the 8900 on my line. She said that techincally the line getting the upgrade was supposed to have a data plan in order to buy a BB, but she worked it out for me anyways.

Unfortunately that has recently changed for several of the newer BB models...I believe that the pearl and flip do not, but to get a new, discounted 8900 they will require the data plan now....
