The investigation of the governor led to the discovery of the prostitution ring.[84]

Republicans used Family Values, Sanctity of Marriage and other morality-preaching as a political weapon and a major selling point for their party.

Their hypocrisy is staggering. Most people don't really care what these politicians do in their private lives but don't tell us that you are somehow morally superior.

Many people may be open-minded and forgiving but they don't like lying, morality-preaching phonies. That is the difference between the phony holier-than-thou Republicans and the Democrats.
 
I hope you know you are whining about affairs to complain about people whining about affairs and you are using ones from last year. that does not help make your point.

Yes the Democrats have the same problem and the Republicans whined about it when the tables were turned. You claim it's the same problem...so why shouldn't the Democrats talk about the problem? The Republicans talked about the Democrats problem non-stop.

I think it's the job of either party to keep the other party in line by pointing out mistakes. That's why a one party rule would be devastating. There would be no checks and balances since no one would point out problems.
 
They don't have the same problems. In thier eyes, the problem isn't screwing around, the problem is saying that screwing around is bad, then screwing around. They say 'screwing around is fine, and everyone should do it,' then suit actions to words. They may have the morals of billy goats, but they're not hypocrits.
