and then you've got fucktards like Rush Limbaugh telling people that it we shouldn't be doing anything about it because the ocean will take care of itself and that oil is released into the ocean all the time. Oh and it also might have been the work of terrorist pro-environmentals!!!

Why are 80% of the solutions "blow it up!" Explosions are difficult enough to control on land, now put it under a mile of water, in an environment where this has never been done before. Explosives should be an absolute last ditch effort due to the possible failure and resulting consequences.

Our country has the capability to build massive structures and powerful explosives.
