Why the hell can't I connect to the internet on my Wii?

I search for an access point, it usually finds my router, I pick it, put in my WEP and everything but it never connects

Try changing channel to 11, change wireless to "Mixed".

I have a 2wire router, although I don't know how to change to channel 11 (on my router homepage thing the only channels I have are 5, 6, and 7, also, I have no idea where to change wireless to mixed

lol...look through the router settings.

I think the Wii uses wireless B, you need to switch the router so that its accepting both G+B.

Try the different channels, I used 11 because its the least used.

Make sure your using a wep key in slot 1.

I found this out teh tough way as i was using the slot 2 key. I kept getting some 50xxx error and was like wtfmate.

Switched to the key in slot 1 ( as the wii can only use a wep key in slot 1 for some reason ) and I was online. Easy.

I am putting it in the first one, still get error 51330. I think I may need to change the from G to mixed but I have no idea how to do that
