Dr.Zakir Naik, world famous islamic scholar and Ahmed deedat, world famous islamic scholars are invited popes for a public debate .
but both the popes replied they only want closed room talk.why they afraid to talk public with their faith?
"Pope John Paul told Shaikh Deedat to come to his cabin for a debate," he said and added why does the inter-faith dialogue be held behind closed doors?

lol, they could but they would be exposed like many others, why debate about religion when they can conveniently believe in lies, and get all the altar boys they ever wanted.

Christianity is based solely on blind faith, not even scriptural evidence, the scripture supporting their man made doctrine is easily taken apart and exposed as the work of fraudsters.

Because if you talk in private, you can have an actual, genuine discussion. If it's a public forum, it will be nothing but soundbites and grandstanding.

Why is your leader so afraid to meet with the Pope behind closed doors?

I have talked ( debated ) with many different religions, including Muslims. It is usually a legalistic, blind discussion, where both parties walk away with nothing added. As a Christian, I cannot go against the word, and all other religions have at best a variation of the bible. If you think about it, there is no religion older than the bible, because Moses wrote the first 5 books of the bible, and Genesis started before creation of man. Therefor, all religions spin off the bible, even the satanic bible, which completely goes against what the bible says. Well versed Muslims have wisdom, but not from God, and is void of revelation knowledge, which only comes from the Holy Spirit.

First Pope Benedict XVI is a very busy man and secondly he is well aware of Islam and what it teaches and although he wishes you well and peace he has no need nor desire to debate anything. Such a debate would be a waste of time.
