I am working on my school project about inhibition of the Population growth in Paramecium. I'm examining an antiprotozoal activity of an extract. My question is what is the significance of testing this antiprotozoal activity on Paramecium or why should one choose Paramecium? Is there any clinical significance, comparable if the organism to be tested is Entaamoeba coli for example.?
