Why so late?

Well i just saw on a news article ( http://rapiRABhare.de/files/8179411/MOVKYDGNC20051125000205112514343003.wmv.html ) that Mr. And Mrs. is being released in japan on the 3rd of december. I just wanted to know why so late from america and england seeing as the film came out over here around summer time

Mr & Mrs Smith was released in the UK and USA on 10th July 2005. The first 2 countries where it was released were Kuwait and Egypt! My point is that movies always come out at weird time around the world. It actually suprises me that it came out in the UK and USA on the same date, we usually get them 6 months later.

p.s the movie doesnt come out in Italy until 2nd December!

Possibly yeh, like Pearl Harbour. Apparently the whole ending for that was different in Japan. Making them look better or something.
