I know this sounds really insensitive and controversial and I'll have plenty of people giving me harsh answers, but think about our rapidly increasing human population. Why can't we just accept the fact that people will die from these incurable diseases as much as they will from automobile accidents, natural disasters, and wars and that not all of us will live a long life? Why is it OK that other animals such as farm animals and wild rodents won't live that long of a life and eventually meet their fate caused by humans? Is their an explanation that all humans should be given the opportunity to outlive other species?
