Why should the government stop at health-care?

even if for the sake of argument we call it a right, what does that have to do with the government providing (or selling) it?
the government dosent provide life, liberty. free speech, guns or any other thing that is widely recognized as a right. i have never understood this argument.

Obama and Pelosi sound like they are around a bong in college... "Wouldn't it be great if......" They live in a dream land that unfortunately are trying to impose at quite a cost.

The government shouldnt have anything to do with what you liseted. There are organizations like The Salvation Army and others that provide those things to people in need. So just like those issues, the government should not run health care either. Yes, government runned health care has worked in other areas of the world, but there is a reason many of those people are coming to America for health issues because they cannot get the treatment where they currently live. Sure our health care system could be better, but just fix the broken stuff. Dont change the entire program that in turn, will only make it worse.
