If we understand knowledge as a true, justified belief and if we consider faith to be just a belief; then why should people think faith is a good thing? It isn't even justified. I could say "I have faith the God of the Bible is real". If I had a vision of this God I could say " I believe the God of the Bible is real" *this claim is stronger because my belief would be justified*. If I were to go to heaven and see this God after my vision I could say " My justified belief was indeed knowledge" because it was true. But what about just faith? What if we used faith in our daily decisions? What if I had faith that I would lose weight even though I put no effort behind it? What if I used faith in determining whether I should cross the street?
Additionally can the Bible be a source of justification? I have a negative view about the Bible. With the contradictions and inconsistencies I find I would say justification using the Bible is impossible.
