Everyone says that they can "Ride a bike or drive a car." Isn't it the other way around. When on a bike we are doing the mechanical driving, but in a car, we aren't driving anything with our legs. So don't we "Ride in a car." instead? Wouldn't these definitions be more accurate?
Why say "Ride a bike." and not...?
