Why rsd general freezes up while reading my moto q?

i've gotten 4.9.8 version,downloaded the mol2 update and it is still freezing up.i've followed these instructions flawlessly and still no wap or mms....is there a simple solution? your help will be greatly appreciated!

I had the same problem with 4.9.8. It locked up with every phone I tried to read. I loaded 5.1.4 and everything is better now.

I either got a bad copy, or my computer didn't like it, or???

Try loading 5.1.4 and see if that fixes it.

I just flashed my Q. After like 8 hours of reading it was actually IE 7 that was having issues. You have to unistall ie 7 and run the RSD program. It will work then :buddies:

this is true i did this and it runs fine now.

RSD General 5.1.6 works great with IE 7 on XP Pro SP2. All the provisioning features read without failure or freezing up. It took 4 version changes but I think they finally worked out the bugs with this one.

The way I see it, I don't use IE 6 or 7 so I didn't hesitate once I found out that was the issue :2thurabs:

indeed rsd general 5.1.6 reaRAB it with no freezing and now im enjoying wap and mms on my motorola q.
