Why Recluters Insist on joining the Active Army?

I think that you really lose out on something if you go directly into the reserves rather than active first. How can you respect someone's rank if they earned while part-time only? You should at least be required to spend two years on active duty first so you know what you are doing.

You mean Recruiter son. They more than likely realize that you need 24/7 guidance for about 4 years.

Unfortunately, leadership may not be your thing. Prepare yourself for something to do after those 4 years are up.
 
Well i am joining the reserve but some recluters at the station keep saying that active is the way to go that like 90% of the people that join reserve then change theyr mind and want to go active because they get used to the money and taking orders... what do you people think?
