why only one year on the 2 into 1

Definitely agree - baggers look balanced w/two pipes. One of the main reasons I scrambled to find an 09 leftover last fall (that & the CAT). Glad HD answered w/2011 changes, but would've been nice adding 103 motor in 09

At first when I bought my SG I was bummed about the 2-1. But after researching a lot I'm going to stay with it. Not with stock, but something with a ghost pipe. IMHO MOCO has downgraded the exhaust from the 10s, just to please the people that think "it only looks right with two pipes". I could change my 96" to a 103" much less than what they charge.

Amazing how business' do that... listen to what the majority of their customers want then deliver it! Makes me wonder how the MOCO has stayed open for 100+ years. IMHO Most people riding these big, heavy touring bikes are willing to give up a bit of performance to get the right look.

That's my point. Those that only care about the look don't realize that MOCO was actually giving you more BANG for your buck with the 2-1. Thank you Captain Obvious for pointing out that companies do what the consumer wants. I would rather the performance than the look, but then again I didn't buy my Harley as a fashion statement.
