Flash drive ? I have 3 GHz processor, 512 RAM DDR & Windows xp service pack 2 on my desktop PC.

Why my PC takes too much time 25 to 30 minutes to copy 1 GB data from a 1 GB Flash drive ?

How can i speed it up ?

How can I get to know that the flashdrive im using is compatible with USB 2 port?
