Why my parents always want me to become a doctor or a lawyer?

I don't really know what my career is and I don't know really know what i really love to do. My mom always told me become a doctor or become a dentist. The problem is that as much I love help problem i just can't stand being outwork and seeing bloods and disfigure. I have a sick stomach about it. Mom always told me that they make a lot of money and I should look up something that make a lot of money. I want to pick a right path that I love to do and make a fortunate, but that ideal. How could I know am I choosing a right path and why mom always want their child to become a doctor?
 
that's like very classic! most parents in my country also wants their children to b doctors ncos they hv good social status. I was forced by my parents too but I knew I dun hv the passion n ability.. I suggest u do wut u wanna do..search different areas dat interest u n gain deeper understanding on it..so u can come up with ur own argument why u pick dat particular field..ur parents will also see dat ur passionate n serious bout dat so they will eventually let u do wut u like...btw I did an aptitude n interest test to get better understanding wut area suits me n i cud use the results to provide an evidence to my parents dat i dun suit to be a doctor
