why my kawasaki 500 ltd motocycle stalls during riding?

i have a 2002 kawasaki 500 ltd, only 3000 miles. recently it always stalls while i was riding. after stall, all the lights are gone, even i returned to neutral gear try to restart the bike, there is no neutral light on, and starter does not start. several minutes later, the lights come back on, and bike can start, but it could not last very long and stall again.

please if anybody could give me some advice of what is wrong. thanks in advance.
 
sounds like a fuel delivery problem. take the gas line off the carburator and see how fast it comes out. if it is barely trickling check the fuel filter and other places for a clog
