I mean seriously people, i come here to try to answer some serious questions a month or so ago, and i find all these questions saying "y do everyone think cheerleaders are dumb?" or "why does everyone think that if a guy doesnt have muscles hes not worth anything" and all those questions, they all follow up in the detail section the same way, (and i know this is kinda hypocritical)"im a <insert thing their complaining about being stereotyped here> and people always think im <insert what about the stereotype they were complaining> but im not! why do people always think that?"
I mean seriously, why cant people learn to accept how it is, and get over it, stereotypes almost never change, and very rarely in the timeframe we want them to change in. I mean whats so wrong with someone saying "i know that i dont have big muscles but am very agile and can fend for myself so i dont really care what people think about me, if they go too far, ill kick there a$$" or "im a cheerleader but im really smart, yet no one thinks so, but that doesnt matter because if i can prove to myself that im not a dumb slut like that miss north carolina person then that means i am worth more than what people treat me as." i mean really? is there something im missing here? or am i the only one who has mastered the art of floccinaucinihilipilification (not giving a damn)
