I think we are ALL quite aware of the dictionary definition. However, through demonstration, feminists typically want equality of outcome rather than true equality. For instance, if a man works 50 hours a week and woman works 40 hours a week, feminists believe both should be paid $500 dollars regardless.
If feminists wish to restrict their own viewpoints to feminism, then so be it, but just understand that the dictionary definition is simply an ideal. Feminists adhere to that ideal just as much as Christians adhere to the ideals of their savior.
