B Bassz Guest Sep 24, 2008 #3 Slavery in Old Kingdom Egypt as well as new (Pyramids??). Mesopotamia were more hunters and gatherers then veered toward royalty. There was a hierarchy back then but maybe some won't consider it slavery.
