...national economy? and why may a business be more affected by the growth of the inter-national economy than the national economy?
 
my husband has a small local business and its success depends soley on the local economy as that's where his customers are

The national economy is irrelevant to him unless his product sourcing or customers were across he country,which they aren't

all his products are sourced locally from other local companies

If a business is national or inter national then the wider econmy will affect its success ans growth
