Why isn't our Gov. Bailing out the agricultural businesses?

Let's face it, agriculture is what this country was built on, without it we fail. It's like we haven't learned anything from the 1920s-1940s when the farmers were in trouble. You can complain about gas going up all you want, but im sick and tired of seeing the price of a loaf of bread going up three dollars or more, common veggies and fruits constantly going up in price, it's bs. What Obama and the rest of the idiots in congress are failing to realize is that we don't need to bail out automakers, corporate powerhouses, or any other monopolies. I guarantee if we were to give any of that billion dollar bailout money (which i've failed to see help out our economy at all so far) to the agriculture market, then we would be out of this crisis a lot faster. I think everyone should follow Texas example and refuse any bailout money, tell Obama to keep his "change". Turn off the news and open your eyes to what's going on in our country.

I live in Florida, the "Sunshine State" NOTHING is grown here. Not oranges, limes, lemons etc. They all come from Chile, Venezuela, Mexico etc. WHY? WHY? WHY???
I started growing a garden this year. (prices on produce were insane and selection was terrible anemic, mealy) Just herbs, tomatoes, peppers and a few other things, they are all growing like wildfire. (I have never grown anything in my life). Anyways the only reason I can think of, is they want us to be dependent on other countries for food. They want to price fresh produce and healthy food out of most Americans grasp. I have no idea why. -but no, I decline, I plan on figuring out how to be as healthy and self sufficient as I can. F*ck the govt.

oh and I live a mile from the Atlantic Ocean, unless I want frozen fish or fish from Asia, I have to get a boat and get it myself. The ocean is in walking distance and you can not buy a fish from those waters. WHY?? I get the same seafood the people in Idaho do. WFT?

The Environmental strong hold on the water system is the problem in California. Currently 40,000 out of work and could reach 80,000 unemployed.

The Endangered Species Act has empowered the Enviro groups to mandate the pumps that ship water to the South from Sacramento/SF be turned off b/c of the Delta Smelt -- a small fish. They're also currently trying to get the Long Finned Delta Smelt on the list.

It's a sad day in our nation when we put animals above people. Some towns in the Central Valley are pushing 50% unemployment and the Libs in Sacramento won't budge. It's either their way or their way...you just have to hold on and hope you survive another year.
