I have a 01 zuma 50cc scooter. at first it would start right up but after riding for awhile it would not start with electric start(turned over fine but wouldnt start)you would have to kick start it So i put new spark plug in it. did not help. after a while it got to be where you had to hold the throttle wide open and kick it to start. so i thought it was flooding and drained the bowl on the carb now wont start at all, the bowl is filling back up. i am out of ideas plz help

did you check fuel filter? other than that the only other thing i can think of would be the coil / ignition sometimes they can be a little weird, work fine one minute then the next no go , also once they heat up they can stop working

it sounds like theres prolly sumthin wrong with the carb, you might wanna get it rebuild it, theres a plastic pump that breaks a lot on some engines and thats probably what it is. These cost 5 bucks at home depot or a lawnmower store just bring the clerk the old one and he'll get the right 1 for you
