Why is this image stuck on screen?

I right clicked to open a link in a new window then the blue highlighted "open in new window" wont go away

i waited an i moved stuff around on the desktop but its still there

how do i get rid of it?
 
It might be burned into your screen, depending on what type of monitor you're supporting.

It might also just be lag or some other hideous beasty like that. That happens a lot with my MSN, and the best thing I can do is a good, hearty restart.

Try that, and if it doesn't work, I'd look it up on Google D:
 
Im not sure because Im not exactly sure what you're talking about. HOWEVER, i think it is a glitch. try simply restarting your computer and it should be perfectly fine. if you cant do that then you might wanna close some of your unnecessary programs down to let the CPU be more free. Restart is almost sure to solve your glitch
