I have no idea what section this belongs in so I'll put it in the general.
Long story short, I have many health problems that result in chronic pain. For months, I had a pain in my stomach that couldn't be explained. Pain therapists concluded it to be neurological-related and put me on anti-depressants. The pills help with the pain but the side effects are creating another problem.
First anti-depressant they put me on had to be stopped because the side effects were unbearable: my head hurt and felt like a bowling ball constantly and it created insane anxiety. The current one I'm on is creating a similar problem...
They told me that, over time, things would improve as my body adjusted to the pills but it's simply been too long for me to believe that. They've tested 3 different anxiety pills on me that don't help at all.
All day, from the second I wake up to the second I lay down, my head hurts constantly and I'm seriously almost in tears while typing this because of it. I'd do anything for it to stop.
Can someone please help me? Both of my doctors are useless when I go to them about this. My G.I. doctor just shrugs it off and says "Oh well, I guess you're just sensitive to these kind of pills. It should get better over time." My primary doctor just sends random anxiety pills my way and tries goofing around with the dose, which doesn't help. I just know his next suggestion will be trying another type of anti-depressant or lowering the dose even more and I don't want to do either of those...
