Why is there not a lot of humility in African American culture?

Really??? You mean more arrogant and proud than white Americans, or Caribbeans, or Africans, Italians, or Mexicans??

I disagree wholeheartedly with you on this one. Many other cultures are very proud and nationalistic, many have their countries flags on their homes and cars, and are quick to talk with pride about their food, culture and music. In fact, I find they have more of a sense of pride (sometimes arrogance) in themselves than we as black Americans do. What are you talking about??
