Why Is there no other life on these?

Basically, its about earth like planets, and since they are just as old, if not older than earth, wouldn't they have humans on it? I don't mean to poke fun or anything, I'm just finding it very illogical to think that it can happen here but not on another identical planet.
Even so, if they have the same conditions as earth, what made the earth so differant and inhabitable?
 
Well... there could be life on these planets, you have to remember, that life is not necessarily intelligent beings like ourselves. Life could be microscopic bacteria that we havent found yet.

Also, the earth has been here roughtly 4.5 billion years old. Intelligent life has only been here in the past few thousand years and it is believed that we as humans will become extict within the next few thousand years. That means that intelligent life is only on a planet for a fraction of that planets lifespan.

So you must think to yourself of all the possibilities... Is it possible that there already has been intelligent life on those planets and it has already gone extinct? Is it possible that there is life on these planets in the form of microscopic organisms that have not yet evolved into multicellular organisms or even intelligent life?

Of course, there is no answer to these questions... yet.
